Baikal Giant+ A2000 X11 Miner Released

Baikal Giant+ A2000

Baikal is a new-comer to the crypto-currency market with a couple miners that support six algorithms.   Baikals support the follow hashing algorithms:  X11, X13, X14, X15, Qubit and Quark.  The Giant+ A2000 is a significant increase in performance from the Baikal 150 units.   The 150 units I would consider more of a hobby miner because they didn't really lend themselves for hosted mining.  I did co-location a number of them for a client but with the stacking method and cording did make me a little uneasy.   The A200 give me none of these concerns.  It is very similar in design to the Avalon and Antminers.

They come with two hashing boards and a Linux based controller board.  The interface is your basic web interface with a performance monitor page and other pages for programming the miner and some basic networking to set it up on your LAN.  It has only a single cooling fan for the miner.  The miner is quieter than your  S9 and Avalon miners.  You can run these in your home without having to deal with a ton of ambient noise during its mining operations.

I do like that these miners have the controller built into the miner compared to others, which have external controllers.  Overall this is a solid miner and would recommend for purchase if you are interested in mining for these crypto-currencies.
